Parigi è una città piena di charme e carisma. Una città che profuma di sogni e magie, di emozioni vissute sotto pelle e di desideri nascosti all’ombra della Tour Eiffel.

Tra una passeggiata a Montmartre che ti sospinge fino ai piedi della basilique du Sacré-Cœur e una crepes mangiata in place du Trocadero, ci si accorge di quanto vitale sia il paesaggio circostante. E proprio il potermi perdere nei luoghi circostanti è stato uno dei motivi per cui ho scelto di raggiungere Parigi con TGV ( Train à Grande Vitesse ) e Voyages-sncf.com, il distributore online di SNCF ( Società Nazionale delle Ferrovie Francesi ).

Per i nuclei familiari sono stati pensati spazi più ampi per poter viaggiare comodi e se si necessita di cambiare i neonati sono disponibili due fasciatoi e nella vettura bar si può far scaldare il biberon. Prese charger sono presenti in ogni sedile, così chi viaggia da solo può guardare un film al computer, giocare con il cellulare o con altri dispositivi senza il rischio di rimanere senza batteria. Per chi viaggia accompagnato da un animale, se pesa meno di 6 kg e trasportato all’interno di una cesta, viaggia gratuitamente. Possibilità di viaggiare in 1° e 2° classe. Per chi viaggia in prima classe sono presenti sedili più spaziosi e inclinabili, servizio di ristorazione al proprio posto tramite ordinazione dal menù e prenotazione gratuita di un taxi all’ arrivo in stazione a Parigi. Per chi viaggia in seconda classe, spazi confortevoli con prese e luci singole, servizio minibar e vettura bar, dove in quest’ultimo  sono in vendita i biglietti per i trasporti pubblici di Parigi, Lione, Torino e Milano.

Al confine sale la Polizia francese per effettuare eventuali controlli discreti e riservati. Sentirsi sicuri è una sensazione impagabile.

Ma la cosa che di più mi ha fatto scegliere il viaggio con TGV è stata la possibilità di potermi gustare il panorama mozzafiato che si apriva al di fuori del mio finestrino. Le montagne del Sestriere, Bardonecchia e Modane, il suggestivo comune della Savoia, Chambèry, o ancora l’universitaria Lione e infine lei, la maestosa Parigi. Avevo un Kusmi Tea rovente tra le mani, proveniente dal mini-bar ( sì, sul TGV il thè è di Kusmi Tea, il mio marchio preferito ) e osservavo tutto ciò che mi circondava… Immagini che passavano veloci, che si imprimevano nella mia mente come le mani si imprimono in un impasto, dando forma a un nuovo capolavoro.

Ebbene sì, vi confesso che ho visto degli spezzoni di questa città per pochi minuti, ma ho deciso di prenotare un biglietto per Chambèry. Antico borgo nato nei pressi del famoso castello, si tratta di una cittadina tipicamente savoiarda con una architettura caratteristica del luogo. Da visitare sono indubbiamente la cattedrale, la fontana degli elefanti e, appunto, il castello. La parte più famosa del castello di Chambèry è sicuramente la torre campanaria della sua cappella, la Tour Jolande, che si compone di ben 70 campanelle, tuttora in funzione, che ne fanno il quarto carillion di campane al mondo.
