Au Jour Le Jour and its founders Mirko Fontana and Diego Marquez presented during Milan Fashion Week, the eclectic Spring/Summer 2016 collection.
Leitmotif of the collection are the spots, which take “form” through the fusion of colors, material innovation and three-dimensional details, creating a harmonious dance of femininity with a high rate of rock and a fresh and contemporary pop soul. Imposing and intense is the visual impact thanks to the association with Dash, that for the past decades represented the change of Italian society.
Thinking the change as absolutely positive, Au Jour Le Jour meets Dash through love for innovation, for fabric care and research developed to enhance the garments.

And then on the clothes of Marquez and Fontana formed spots, coffee cups spilling creating all-over prints camouflage effect, the red blood comes out of syringes or is covered with patches, breaking eggs, ketchup flow down and the paint is sprayed everywhere. Dash must take action to clean up where Au Jour Le Jour fouled!
Jacquard, coatings loaders, fil coupe and faux leather alligator effect are mixed with embroideries made with micro and macro sequins,on denim, on organza silk, on panama cotton, on muslin and different crepe. The sequins come to coral beads on sangallo perforated or mixed with Swarovski crystals in garments inspired by Dash.
Honorable mention to accessories that coordinate tube boots and sling-back sandals to the clutch, the envelope-bags and shoppers, with pendants that are detached from the clothes to become earrings, choker necklaces or charms to apply the favorite bag of the season.
Personal Voice: A collection that amazes and keeps the viewer’s attention very high. Curious to know what the next look to tread the catwalk is felt in the air. Marquez and Fontana are confirmed as visionaries and of great impact on the market with this new collection which will see the accessories and boots as iconic pieces of street style.
