A windy shore, defined as the “Surfers’ Olympo”, with its heroes - Eddie Aikau, just to give one example - its rituals – it host several competition of the winter league - and its mythological places - "surfing spots" as Banzai Pipeline, Rocky Point, Sunset beach.
Gateway for access to the coast is Haleiwa, defined as the “Historic town” for its vintage suggestions and its history, closely interlaced with the 60s boom of surf. Small colorful wooden houses, that evoke hippie and “old plantation” atmospheres, with a “Disney” twist, are hosting art...
